- Develop and maintain distributor and end user relationships
- Travel throughout assigned territory to regularly call on existing and prospective customers to promote, sell and Tungaloy brands.
- Technically support the district through applications at the spindle
- High touch value added selling
- Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes value added salable features
- Focuses on Customer Productivity Improvements via Applied Selling Techniques
- Actively participate in the quotation of competitive pricing by providing accurate and current market pricing for brand-targeted competition to the Contracts and/or Specials group
- Coordinate and facilitate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm’s production and delivery schedules
- Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition
- Prepare reports of business call activity and keep expense accounts
- Coordinate customer training
- Attend trade shows

- Have 5-7 years of related experience, along with university graduate major in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
- A background in Machining is required, and you have strong knowledge of cutting tool applications, design, and machining processes, along with programming experience.
- Have experience with drilling, milling, turning and boring and are very familiar with the machine shop or tool management environments.
- Your communication skills, verbal and written, are top-notch, and you’re a strong team player.
- You also possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists, and you’re comfortable interpreting instructions, diagrams, and schematics.
- Have knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, AutoCAD, CADCAM software and Web based training internet software.
