Bio Medical Equipment Technician I,II
- Perform significant preventive maintenance / safety tests / calibration for medical equipment, as assigned.
- Provide repair for medical equipment.
- Assist in the ordering of parts and supplies.
- Complete all necessary record keeping.
- Other duties as assigned.
Bio Medical Equipment Technician III
- Interact daily with hospital department managers, equipment users, physicians and administrative staff concerning service and usage issues.
- Communicate daily with Account / Area / Site Manager.
- Effectively handle service emergencies.
- Provide technical support and assistance other technicians.
- Maintain equipment repair records.
- Assist in the ordering of parts and supplies.
- Maintain life support equipment, which requires immediate and expert attention.
- Provide coverage and support for Account / Area Manager.
- Provide technical training where necessary based on individual expertise.
- Repair and maintain medical equipment, performing BMET I and BMET II duties and functions as required.
- Maintain repair parts inventory.
- Provide supervision for other technicians.
- Other duties as assigned.
