- Handle all technical-related tasks and functions from design concept to sample approval processes
- Able to handle general Quality Control on woven garments (Jacket, Coat, Down Jacket) under AQL 1.5
- Provide technical advice to supplier, review and approve the product
- Create measurement charts for costing and sampling purposes, with a keen eye for grading
- Check garment fitting on dummies and live fit models ٭ Measure samples
- Check and amend paper pattern, collect and store in the system digital pattern after fit approval
- Comment on pre-production samples, check appearance before and after wash (if applicable)
- Check workmanship and give recommendations on how to improve the workmanship
- Update all company systems and lists related to above tasks on a daily basis
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure company standards are achieved (this also relies on supplier’s ability)
- Communicate with overseas customers and suppliers the buyers’ sample specifications and requirements
- Coordinate all other product-related tasks including ordering fabric, labels, packaging, garments prototypes and inspections.
- Initiate Pre- Production Handover Meetings (production teams may require help from technicians but not entirely important)
- Support and guide all members of the QA team with experience and knowledge, where needed
- Implement and help technical manuals and standards
- Good coordinating with factories / suppliers
- Strong negotiation skill with suppliers / customers
- Follow up delivery schedules with suppliers, resolve or report delays and other problems.
- Production order follow up until product ordered to the final customer
- Monitoring order status and production status to meet shipment deadline
